This photograph received a merit score of 90 (Superior) and "Best of Show" when it was entered in the All Valley Professional Photographers Print Competition. Subsequently, it merited in the 2015 California Professional Photographers Association Print Competition and a physical print of it was displayed in the annual Photo Expo put on by California Professional Photographers.

A spectacular take on a Van Dyke portrait only with the modern twist and with a heavy dollop of theatre. The skintones are of a porcelaine quality that mirrors the glazing techniques of the old masters. The whimsy of the hair blended with feathers is just a perfect topping to this wonderful visage.
